Japanese Indigo seeds, polygonum tinctorium, also known as persicaria tinctoria

An in indigo bearing plant which is easy to grow in temperate climates such as Canada and the US.  A green, leafy plant which will grow up to 3 feet tall and produces a small pink flower.  Leaves can be harvested for use in a fresh leaf indigo vat to dye gorgeous soft blues which are very colourfast.
